We didn't have any of this trouble with the virtual West Highland Way Race because you just told them how long you took, it was a trust system. No linkage to devices.

This is unusual. Many are just on honour system anyway. The Tennessee race is honour, but struggled the first week or so because they expected maybe 500 entries and got more like 20,000.

I had assumed the rogue steps inclusion was something to do with my setup. I’d seen social media gripes about people failing to connect anything.
Just gone onto RH and my daily steps from today show in there ... have to delete those now.
Bit of a faff for - ultimately - a free digital certificate innit!

 yup! & if I find it’s more likely to injure than train/strengthen I would be daft to risk spoiling the remainder of the summer. I’ve learned something I suspected, consecutive long runs are proper hard for me 😂 Daily  to you all, drizzly here.

Ferret although my legs complained loudly overnight after two consecutive days of hard work last night, after the third day, they were fine, but I'm looking forward to a few days off once I've done today's 5 miles.

RH is still only showing my runs, walks have disappeared completely.
I shall carry on and hope that the glitches have been fixed by the time I finish. I don’t think I’ve got the energy to make up the missing 20+ miles though!
