Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I was there last week and the weather was naff!!! We walked a short section at sycamore gap and steel rigg. It was beautiful even on a cloudy day. Really hilly though. I did a 2.5 mile walk on Hadrians wall and logged it on my WCP virtual challenge!

Total is now 7.2 miles and I'm behind the target rate by 0.5 miles. It's still a bit urban, but I've found a nice spot to camp by the River Tyne.

The wall is here. Not sure if it's the bit on the left or in the ditch on the right. Actually ahead of my pace marker now, and will be even further ahead tomorrow, before run the sum drops back to little distances on Wednesday.

Conquer LEJOGers would be welcome in the ETE thread it was just a few of us identified as doing it so we had a thread.

I did the virtual rat race The Wall back in June (I think) I still fancy doing it for real. I keep threatening to go and run sections of it myself but not made it there yet. Maybe next year.
