Wine Legs
I'm back here for inspiration please!
In my fridge, I have: lots of carrots (I'm not a massive fan, but they keep coming in the veg box), a cauliflower, swiss chard, brussels sprouts, romano peppers. There's also cherry tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, lots of tins of pulses. ALL the spices, etc.
Trying to conjour up a meal idea that's not curry...
Am working from home tomorrow, so can cook long if needed.
Hit me with your ideas. At the moment, I am looking at carrot and kidney bean burgers... but Binks already did Falafel earlier this week...

Just do the same as burgers but make them sausage shape. Itβs amazing how just a shape can present a different meal!

Lots of carrots? Vegan Shepherds pie does me! Sprouts go suprisingly well in it too.
Carrots, pulses, sprouts, any other veg (cooked and seasoned) with some kind of gravy/liquid, topped with mash. Oven for 20 mins

I think I will do something like that in the coming weeks (mostly because I am out of celery, weirdly).
Vegan cook books - it looks like there's a few versions of the Bosh one. Are they all the same (looking at the evil Amazon). Anyone got the Jack Monroe one too?

Use websites for recipes...there are tons of them around. I'm trying to buy fewer cookbooks. The Bosh website has recipes on it, The Healthy Chef has lots of vegan recipes on it too.

Ok so what's the best tofu to use and best way to cook it? I bought some that was very wet and not very pleasant can't remember what and hubby cooked it. I've heard that tofoo ?sp is best. I have the cauldron one in atm and tbh I'm putting off using it. I want to do a Thai green curry with it and have everything I need.
