Pesto made with broccoli stalks deliciousmagazine.co.uk - I might try this, I've been trying to use stalks and leaves of broccoli and cauliflower but my imagination has not stretched much further than soup.

Thank you for sharing that Mrs Jigs; I'm not that keen on pastry but that sounds like a great filling for a veggie shepherd's pie too (I am quite keen on potato).

I have made it with a mashed potato topping and sometimes include swede with the mash

Excited to report that I have bought, and now tasted and like, oat milk! This is a big deal, because I'm a veggie who likes milk. It tasted nice on its own, in a hot chocolate or in a milkshake. It was Oatly Barista (I'm trying to find Glebe Farms version as I'm told Oatly is a global corporate and we're not supposed to love them, are we?) So... butter and cheese. Any recommendations? G |

I use Flora for my spread, all plant based except the buttery version. There are other brands that aren't big corporate companies either. I buy it because it's not expensive, easy to get and I like the taste.

Naturli for the butter - hubby likes it, so that's progress. He realised that butter also gives him phlegm.

[You've probably guessed the idea already but “Naturli’” the trade-name is short for the word “naturlig”, which means “naturally” in Danish.]
