So when you get a badge with rarity index of 1, does that mean that only one person has claimed this badge so far? A rarity index of 2 would mean that two people have claimed this badge, etc... Or Does it mean that of all the badges this is the hardest #1 to get and that I am really awesome to get such an achievement? |

I think it's sorted by number of people who have badge with all the single holders like you above be called #1. If there was say 10 badges with sole holders i guess the badges with 2 owners start at #11 with shared ranking based on badge holders.

As per kstuart, it's the rank order of badges by holders. Currently rank #1 is one person, as per (eg) fetcheveryone.com/badge.php?bid=640 or fetcheveryone.com/badge.php?bid=290 eg I have Martinique, just me, #1 (and no one else had better go claiming it), but Grenada with 5 owners is ranked #95 |

Well I would have, NDWDave, but a lot if my run (and walk) imports were set to use Fetch's map elevation data, which don't count to climbs. Secondly, some watches such as Coros don't get proper climbing data into Fetch for some reason. So I have changed watches and am working on it
