Apologies if this has been asked before. I have just realise that the WAVA badges are for training runs and not for races. I always assumed it was based on the Race Portfolio. I noticed this because I looked up a couple of people who had the "Nineties" badge and saw that their best race performance was low Sixties.

What is the minimum distance required for a training run to register for a WAVA score?

I would assume there is no minimum distance. It certainly calculates a WAVA if you run 100 metres.

Won't comment on any others but I can make an observation on the Fetchpoint one as I had a similar question a little while back.

It seems that the badge generator code for Fetchpoint runs once daily, in the dead of night after the previous day's bug bonus/penalty has been applied AND the score contribution from 30 days ago has been deleted. So it's possible that you could have a score of, say, 5001 at midnight but only 4999 when the code runs - meaning you don't get the 5000 point badge. I don't think it looks at your 'high score' record.

Based on my experience (shared by others) - the easiest route to a badge you think you've earned but not received is a feedback note to Fetch. He'll do a quick check and either award it manually or explain why not.

Hope that helps :)

OtG - if you have a "higher" badge, the intermediate ones don't get shown. For example, have you got the 10,000-point FetchPoint badge?
