Last week’s OC was good, two excellent teams (Thrifters and Suncatchers). I got one of the second round questions from the first clue.

I was surprised the Isotopes struggled so much with the wall yesterday.

The Isotopes were awful at the wall. They had 5 artists but seemed to just give up on going through them systematically and started doing random element stuff. I was yelling at the TV
I thought the team dynamics on UC were a bit odd. The bloke next to the captain was pretty annoying, maybe he wanted to be the leader?

I think there's a tactical trend in UC over the past few years where the best or second best at answering anything sits far left and the captain 2nd left and increasingly the captain includes others whenever possible.

wow! I am told someone I know from my triathlon club was on Only Connect tonight (as I am away on holiday I'll have to catch up later in the week).
She also completed an Ironman yesterday. That's 2 items on my 'would love to do one day, but probably never will' right there!

I'm a sucker for the Portillo double entendres which sometimes close the show; tonight's was a corker
