Yes they were incredibly mismatched teams! The losers were possibly the worst team I've seen. (Which is not to say I'd have done much better, but I did get stuff on the wall they completely missed.)

I think they had mentally checked out by the wall (possibly earlier) - they were already so far behind. I hope they can do better in their next match, for their own sake 
Was VC-M joking when she said she didn't believe in evolution? I found that a really odd moment.

I almost got a 5-pointer on OC! As soon as the UK-France in 1940 came up I was thinking of failed mergers. I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to go for it though

Very chatty and relaxed team captain on the video nasties last night. Oh, to be so relaxed chatting to VCM; I'd be a wreck!
Two decent teams, though the brother / sister dynamic on the Solomons was a little odd / old fashioned at times.

I liked the Video Nasties - although at one point I felt the director should have been in the earpiece to VCM that they ought to eventually get back to OC...
Another week where I felt I didn't do too badly, too. Easier questions, or are they just falling better for me?

I tend to not like family teams in general - perhaps I overlooked his smuggitude because the lady on the right put me in mind of a Bond-esque femme fatale, and so I was immediately on her side.

The worst bit was when he deliberately gave a slightly wrong answer after their wall so he could be corrected and give the right answer immediately without extra thought. Total smart arseness.
