Suppose that could be right if the numbers of people in the divisions above have been cut enough that we all move down at least one division. Maybe that's what's happened?

ukjmr Mar 2015 11:01am, 9 Mar 2015 6 posts	0 ukjmr Momentary pain for all, but I was in a lowish division and the same three of us were being promoted every month without anyone else getting a reasonable chance until we hit our natural level of incompetence. So now I've been bounced into a higher division and straight into the relegation zone. It might have taken away the smug satisfaction of monthly propotion without trying, but now I'm really going to have to try! I think it's a good thing on the whole but will take a month or two to settle down.
Marts May 2015 9:58am, 22 May 2015 4,270 posts	0 Marts IS it broke again. 33 people in div 2 and about 38 in div 3. some of the times there look odd as well for such a high division (hm >2:50, 5k >40m)
tipsku May 2015 7:04pm, 22 May 2015 329 posts	0 tipsku I had a quick click through all divisions: as Marts reported, divs 2 and 3 have too many players, some of them with very slow times for such high divisions. Divs 10 and 25 have only 19 players instead of 20, but it could simply be that one player in these divs decided to leave UTMOST. All other divisions have 20 players, bar 37 with 15 players which is not surprising since it is the lowest that is currently populated.

roberton Aug 2018 12:28pm, 11 Aug 2018 79 posts	0 roberton I'm thinking about what's needed to give UTMOST a boost... When I joined UTMOST last April it had 39 divisions. It's now got 29. I assume some people quit it but most of the losses are people who stop logging race times. I also assume that's because they either leave the site or least become inactive on it. Fair enough, but then new people join or start using the site too. But do they sign up to UTMOST? I guess not. So would it be helpful for it to be promoted sometimes? Or even for people to be automatically silently enrolled, just like they are for standards? (https://www.fetcheveryone.com/race-standards.php)
