torey Mar 2017 9:42am, 2 Mar 2017 171 posts	0 torey I really enjoyed doing the Centurian runs..got "pulled" by medics at a mile from the finish in the 100 Thames Path one year when I had hyperthermia and was taken to hospital briefly! It was when it was in the early Spring and it snowed! Have done it since and so pleased to get my buckle. Have resigned to not doing 100 milers now due to hip arthritis but I suppose 50 milers are ok! I can handle laps ok Carolyn, especially at night!

I'd entered to have a crack at TP100 that year (2012), but started hormone therapy and it knocked me sideways so withdrew well before the event. However I was following online and I was gutted to see that someone had come so close to the finish and been denied! It seemed so crazy how that weather changed. Did you ever get that one crossed off in the end?

That was a nasty experience in 2012..and the real bummer of it was that I had actually run more than a 100 miles because a couple of us had taken a wrong path and had to retrace our steps! Loved the run all the same.
