Atlas race sounds just what I'd enjoy but I can't entertain anything over twelve hours for a while until I have a hip replacement which could be years away unless I pay! Fairly pleased with Brecon to Cardiff 70k (44 miles) where I placed 84/223 although I wanted a better time. (don't we always!?!) 8hrs 18 mins was ok on what is a challenging route . |

Saw a 'highlights' vid of LoS earlier, 2 leaders timed out on lap 36 or something, so both dnfs. Womens race had a winner. Interesting concept, looks very tough mentally. |

Just completed Rovaniemi 150K. Temps went down to -27 degs C. Still have all my fingers. A snow tyre called Lumi sat on my pulka which weighed about 30kg in total and got 3rd place because the other ladies quit for one reason or another. (cold etc). If you're looking for a snow and ice event Rovaniemi 150 also has an introductory 66km event as well as a 300 km event. The organisation is excellent. Now to re-attempt Arrowhead. |

....Lumi weighs 15kg. My pulka had water, spare gear, -40 deg C sleeping bag to make it weigh close to 30kg.

Excellent work rf. But that's a snow tyre? Was looking at Arrowhead the other day. It does appeal. Also been looking at the 6633 now it has come back to life. |

I was trying to work it out. Current best guess. Dog or other pet that refuses to run, but still wants to go on the trip Had to look up pulka too to confirm it was what I thought it was... |
