BDP, IHB7G (ik heb beach sevens gerugbied)
Lost they first game by a couple of scores, bit as they were an ereklasse (the one above is) team with about 20 players to call on, and we only had 8 (two of whom haven't played all season), I think we did on.
Technically won the second as the opposition forfeited.
This game in 15 minutes, then a nice break for lunch.

A run is a win - have fun Rae
So I've just run Longrun Medow parkrun(196 on the difficulty index)
Largely gravel underfoot and loose at points twisty and narrow. Minimal traffic issues on as I lapped people but not perfect.
Time 18.04 - wava 83.67 - age means that this is 1.6% higher wava than my 16.16 parkrun pb
Disappointed I couldn't go sub 18 there and then but found sub 6mm hard to hold consistent pace, I guess just due to lack of fast running.

Third game lost 24-13, another ereklasse team, though they did very kindly loan us some subs, and again I'd say we can be happy with how we played.
We're just dropping ourselves up for a nice easy day tomorrow 😁

Fourth game lost, not sure by how much.
Nasty team who put in a lot of high tackles and hands to the face, also a squad of about 30, which is just excessive.

In the fifth game I was taken out by a table from behind and heard a nasty crunch from my spine.
Getting up again hurt quite a lot, so I came off, and was persuaded the best thing to do would be to go to the festival first stuffers, who poked and prodded and asked if it felt weird when they ran their hands over my legs (and of course it did, because I was cold and covered in drying sand, it was super weird) then sent me to get x-rays at the island dr's station.
After an interminable wait while the GP got a second opinion on the digital images from from a radiologist on the mainland,I was given the all clear and some Diclofenac and told to take it easy for the rest of the weekend.
