I’m hiding from February, although it was warm this week still rank dark cold miseryfilth. Enjoying my first retirement week, training sociable times and getting other stuff done. Plenty o’holidays in the year plan. Happy days indeed. |

Gobi the plan today was 30 mins easy but I decided even that was too much. I'm off to bed in a minute - I feel exhausted.

Having read Glennerses blog tother day, runs at more like target pace. Blimey, I thought people read my blogs for the cat photos, sarcasm and misanthropy. |

GlennR I just read your blog. Largely way too Intellectual for me. Run was has its place as do intervals. I do however prescribe to the fact that sometimes the HR just needs to be down and steady for a whole plod. That said if you don't run much and are not smacking yourself silly every run then you do whatever you like. I've run 60 miles this year, yes year. I have finally made the call to retire so all my running has been with the dog, I stop, I chat, I run and at points I even have to walk for my dogs convenience. I'm content |

Gobi I agree with you completely. Unfortunately in my case my standard running pace now pushes my heart rate too high, so I opt for walk breaks rather than slowing down so far it gets on my nerves.
