Fuck 'em. It’s one of the downsides. In the old days you'd go down the local and you’d be able to avoid the village idiot. Now you’re exposed to everyone else's village idiot too. Empty kettles…… (as my granny used to say) |

I got driven off the cricket thread by one individual who targeted me relentlessly, just took the fun away and made it unpleasant. I’ve also retreated to a very select threads where it’s fun/safe/pleasant. Oddly the other forum I hang out in (Tritalk) all threads, even the political ones can have a reasonable debate without ever becoming personal/nasty/judgmental. I’ll defend my place here though if some arse tries to rocks up to drive me away…. |

Dropping in to say I'm still here even though I have done nothing the hotel residents would find remotely interesting. I keep thinking I'll get my act together but it's not happening. I'm sorry Greg is feeling as he does. I keep away from any potentially controversial threads. Keyboard warriors are a PITA. |

This one's not much better at the moment, Gobs. Though, it's at least not really that cold despite the rain and wind. I'm off to church camp tomorrow to Saturday, which should be a generally pleasant, if soggy, affair. Trying to decide if be it would be better to take the nylon tent than the canvas one, given high probability of having to pack it away damp. The nylon one is also easier to put up, which may also have to be done in the damp. Bit it isn't as cosy or easy to decorate with fairy lights. |
