Significantly less impressive then TROsers's achievements, it was the last day of the season for the Vets Dames today, in the social league. We had enough players for three teams, with subs (playing 10s)so we played with our favourites, the Tovaal girls, as ToVets and we absolutely slayed. Two games, two wins. Total scrum dominance, fewest penalties, great defence, and several beautiful breakthrough tries. A joyful end to a very enjoyable season. We also had a team meeting before the games, and decided that next season we're going to cluster with Tilburg, which means we'll jump straight into the Dutch first division 😳 We have several players who absolutely deserve to play at that level - including two Dutch national youth squad members. It would be heartbreaking to lose them from the Vets, so over all I think this is the right move for us of the available options* but I have to admit I'm a little scared by it. I'll really have to improve my fitness and fight for a place on the field if I want to play. I really want to play. *which were: stay in the social league, cluster with Tilburg, or cluster with Eindhoven. Eindhoven didn't seem that keen and the few times we've trained with them there was no 'click', wheres we have good links with Tilburg already through the Dutch national youth players, and our coach used to play for the Dutch first XV with their coach. |

Raetomic Kitteno - if I can help just ask Travelled home today after a relaxing morning. The parts of my legs that went south are sore today, but I did enjoy the event, currently looking at 2 more in Belgium and Netherlands. Well done indeed TROSaracen I am VERY impressed |
