I'm off to Haarlem today, to play with the Cheetahs.
Apparently we only have 14 girls, so it'll be another unceremonious drubbing, but a fun day out I'm sure.

Could definitely have been worse, could also have been better. We had three or so near misses.

Their pitch was kut - rock hard dirt with token patches of sand. I hurt everywhere.

Can't wait for next week.

Great work Rae.

Long run/Long bike this weekend, just tapping it out, having fun and building fitness. Weather set to improve, racing will begin soon only real downer is cost of gas/elec/petrol and that Russian arse.

Just 1.3 miles run today. Got to just over half a mile when I felt a slight twinge in my Achilles, so gently jogged back.

Sounds wise Nick, hope its OK

I spent my weekend in a gymnastics gymnasium in Chatham.

Was worth it, my daughter came home with the following:

Gold - beam
Bronze - floor
Bronze - vault
Bronze - all around

:-)

Feels like spring here today though, makes me think about getting my bike out...
