Not a lot, lately - the damn Dukes keep failing to turn up so our games keep getting cancelled There were over 30 girls turning up to their trainings at the start of the season, more than enough for their first team and a good few to fill out the cluster team.
Now, even poaching from the other clubs in the cluster, there were only 11 of us down to play yesterday. It's shocking.
I'm usually the driver, anyway, so I'll only get one real beer tops, and then only if the post game food is more substantial than bloody soup.

Morning kids. It's March! Well February was a corker even amongst February's - a race in an apocalyptic deluge, followed by 4 named storms in a week and WW3 starting.
Scores on the doors: S: 9hrs/19mls/12% B: 36hrs/580mls/48% R: 18hrs/111mls/24% XT: 12hrs/16%
Total 75hrs
Just tapping it out really - relentless consistency, only real item of note a stupidly hard half marathon in stupidly filthy weather which cratered an entire week's training. It was fun really.
Onto March, which will be very similar - only race another half marathon which will be flatter and hopefully in better conditions.
Bike racing and lots of other action is lined up for April, so March is another training month. Onwards.

A big Feb for me
REST DAYS ZERO
Run 25.30hrs 179miles Bike 41.30hrs 679miles Yoga/Gym 21hrs Total 88hrs
Total is not far below January, biggest run month since Jan 2020 Races - Ran for Welsh Masters and was 12th overall and 1st vet 50 Local cross country league is BRUM DIV 2 and I was 35th , power of 10 tells me I was beaten by a V55 but no other over 50 so another solid run.
Jogged Wokingham half yesterday.
Unlike TRO my duathlon season starts Sunday , 2 races this month with another outing for Wales in the middle.

For completeness,
Swim 0.3 Bike 6.9 Run 6.4
plus gym, yoga end stuff.
Teeny tiny but all feels like a new start. Chatted half-heartedly with Gobi about this. There may be a way forward. And it doesn't include tennis, which is all to the (very) good.
