I’ve been caravan wrangling but now we’re home and I have a cup o’ tea in hand, so all is well in the world

London Tri: Horrible - Just don't ever consider doing it.
Swim: Choppy, with next waves of swimmers swimming over the top of you. Bike: dangerous in the wet and the wind with not enough marshalls, leading to crashes and people going the wrong way. Run: the most boring up and down 3 times route imaginable, especially in lashing rain (which was actually a distraction).
Hated almost the entire thing
Oh and it took over an hour to escape out of the traffic hell around ExCeL.

CStar. The weather can't be helped but the rest of it is down to the organisers.

Never done the London Tri, never will.
It’s either the premium (Outlaw’s, Ironman) or small friendly club events that I do these days.
Sorry for your experience, maybe see if there is a nice local late season sprint to take some good memories into Winter?
By a coincidence marshalled our club Tri today. Lovely event, 45% of the field ladies, tons of excited/nervous/thrilled newbies and the rain held off until after. Minimal social distancing requirements made it all feel normal again. A great, great day.
