Will do 10 days in Chattanooga (about 2 hours drive North of Atlanta), then after Mrs TRO's event straight across to Kona which should give about 10 days in Kona pre race.

Cozumel showed me that 5-6 days is not enough to get used to near death tropical heat.

So just under 3 weeks all told, half in Chatty then remainder in Kona to get prepped.

I know nothing, apart from the song, about Chattanooga. Will happily spend some work time googling. I feel a new Lonely Planet book coming on.

I did the 70.3 World's in Chattanooga, nice place. There's a diner there that serves slices of cake bigger than your head. Or my head. Or even a buffalo's head.

(I suspect this is not unique to Chattanooga mind)

my run tomorrow will be at lunchtime cos I'm 'ard and well if TRO is doing outlaw weather could do anything so I need to prepare for hot too!

Nice Wanger TRO - seems we are both still getting the hours in

I went to the gym and lifted weights, it was much more structured but still not going enough to really call it training
