I'm still boycotting deathmatches in a sulk over Aber pier, Gerp.
Morning heroes and weirdoes, and Sweetie (do stick around! we mostly only abuse Glenners, and that's because he likes it, and join the Tuesday night suffering sessions, they're fun!)
I don't mean to rub it in for those facing tightening lockdown style restrictions, but I've managed to bag myself a slot tomorrow from 10:30 to 12 at the national swim centre up't road in Eindhoven.
It's a lovely facility usually only marred by too many people, so with reduced numbers it should be perfect.

Rae been swimming this morning but only allowed 50 mins max but having to get home for work means 35
But whilst swimming it did make me wonder why they don't use the outdoor pool as a cold water thingy I'd don my wetsuit for that as it would be less crowded than the pool (even with 10 max)

I feel the same abut the lake here that I use in the summer - I'd be very happy to get neoprened up and keep going all winter, though as I'm usually completely alone when I swim there doing it in the cold might not be the safest idea.

THere was a writer on the radio this morning saying he goes swimming in the sea every day, sometimes in the dark. I was thinking perhaps there should have been a health warning after his piece.
