Yup. Don't expect discouragement here. They are lovely.

IBS - a bit shorter than planned because when I came to lock up my bike I discovered I had left my swimming bag at home. :(

I wouldn't mind a cycle helmet in the same colour, but there's no way I'm googling purple helmet, thank-you very much :-o :-)

Cycle shoes, whilst expensive can actually turn into a decent VFM purchase. I had 2/3 pairs that I never got on with then lashed out on a stupidly expensive pair of Spesh S Works.

They were glorious, different gravy in comfort and power transfer. They gave me about 6 years of sterling service, 3 years as the road shoe then 3 years as almost daily use on the turbo.

One of my best buys.

So get ‘em Frag....

And providing the event itself isn't called off it looks like we might be able to take part in the Bear trail after all (we just have to stay at a B&B a few km away from the start line on the Dutch side of the border, rather than the one right next to the start line).
