Bummer Rae. I will still be mildly surprised to do both my events.
Near fatal death after Zwift race last night - underfuelled and a bit woosy. Cat C is (for me) so much harder than D. Did nearly 2 laps before being dropped (pace was too fast, but didn't want to let em go) and 4 laps of teeth gritted holding the position I was now in. 61st out of 64. Club are now discussing the WTRL league which is on a Tuesday, so Tuesday pain may remain out of the window. Will join next week for a swansong.

I have to acquire one of these here solid gold inlaid with hen's teeth smart trainers first.
Wiggle reckons 2 to 4 weeks before an affordable one is back in stock, then I guess I'll need a Bluetooth/ant+ dongle for the old lapdog?
For an alleged digital native I have shockingly low interest in how any of this works.

Annoying Rae but sensible.
Another session of track today. 4 x 600m again. Ran the first 400 a bit slower today (so closer to target 1500 pace of 70 per lap) then kicked from 200 to finish to run close to the splits I ran last time. Splits today were 1:38.6, 1:39.8, 1:38.2, 1:40.7. Last rep needs to be better but my catch up target ran a faster last rep so wasn't close enough to use as a target on the last 200 (should have compensated by also running a little faster early on myself on last rep). 150s after, all sub 21 and first one 20.2 which got me thinking about sub 20!
Felt strong, just got to look after legs now and hope for good weather for the season finale on Sunday.

Nice SPR, be good to have you onboard Rae/Frag.
I’m in off season but did the sesh anyway for the giggles. Felt rusty, a little off on numbers and HR went very high but good to have the continuity.
Does my nut in feeling fitness slide away but I know it’s beneficial long term.
