Alas no. Saw Mike the Shipbroker (captain of men’s 3) so was able to stick my tongue up his bum in a socially distanced manner in hopes of getting a regular gig this winter.

We've been celebart. The Young Lad was 15 yesterday so tonight we are full of steak, prawns & mushrooms (& red wine for some of us...!!).

Good times all. We’ve got a Miller and Carter walking distance from us here in Chelmer Village but we’ve inexplicably not been there since it stopped being a Beefeater many years ago. Our loss.

It's game day!
For once I don't have to be the driver, which is actually a bit confusing for me but does mean I can have a biertje or two while watching the other teams play after us, so that's nice.
I'm paranoid I've forgotten to pack something I'll need and that I'll be rubbish, but it doesn't matter because this is just a friendly and there's at least one more rubbish person than me on the team.
Also the last few training sessions have shown that while I'm not and never will be the quickest, I'm definitely one of the fittest. So that's somewhat reassuring. It's almost like all this running and cycling and whatnot is good for me.

Angus - jnr shares his birthday and a love of steak with my house management - we rode bikes and are doing the same today, this is not training. I have no power or cadence set up on this bike I will be "just riding" with the boss.
