Just trainers.... it doesn't work that well. I only have toe clips.
*whispers*
I don't ride my road bike v often.
I need to sort out the fit then I probably would.

Be not ashamed, Linds. I bet Gobi doesn't have *any* swimming kit, let alone a suite of different caps or cozzies, or goggles for different conditions (or swanky smart goggles, come to that).
Tis just a friendly pre-season thing, Gerp, not sidebar worthy.

Easy day today. Half marathon tomorrow and 10 TT Sunday.
A bit battered after TTT.

😂 fair enough, Gobs. But is it a mutilated pull buoy with elasticy bits to stop you losing it? #SRW
I do have you beat on swimming cozzies, though. I must be up to at least 8, including bikinis (more if you include the kind that are clearly not designed for swimming in, just for lazing around in sunshine), same number of goggles (no smart ones. I'm not even thinking about those. honest), three or four tri suits, one pair of tri shorts, three wetsuits, and I've lost count of swim caps.
I don't have any training aid type things like floats or fins or paddles or anything. I keep wondering if I ought to get some, but then not.

My experience of swim aids is you use them once or twice then cart them to the pool every week, and never use them.
YMMV.

It’s not proper swim training unless you swank onto the deck with a net bag full of toys you don’t even know how to use (Finis Fulcrum, anyone?!) and spend the first 5mins obsessively arranging them at the end of the lane so that nobody else has room for so much as a water bottle.
