Brilliant news Rae !!
I have had a little watt bike ride and done some rapid yoga. The Boss has requested we go running.
Who am I to say no?

First skins swim of the year, 40 mins.
Weird swim, sun out and calm at the start but clouds rolled in, wind got up and it was pretty rough and wild by the end. Never known things change during a swim as much as that.
Now raining.
Morning.

Great news Rae.
We had a frisky little thunderstorm about 90 minutes ago.

Its even hotter here than it was yesterday (31 yesterday, expected to hit 33 today), storms have consistently been forecast as about three days away (so, on wednesday they said storms saturday, yesterday they said sunday, etc) and the humidity is also increasing, so it's bound to break at some point.
Sam has invested in an air conditioning unit thing for his new office, I am still making do with a fan.

The weather's having a laugh. Rains stopped and sunny outside. If iv had a lie in would've missed the rain entirely and gone outside. No sign of the predicted thunderstorm.
Sigh.

I've been hanging about the house waiting to take the Young Lad into town to meet up with his mate, only to be told (on shouting "right, you ready then?") that his mate cancelled on him this morning. Feel a bit sorry for him because he hasn't been out or met up with anyone since lockdown started, but also frustrated that he didn't think to tell me straight away so I didn't waste the last hour and a half.
