Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

However, my original point was about the computer, not the light. Our mate Ray's impressed: I think there’s a strong case to be made that the Edge 530 is Garmin’s best bike computer ever

But but but...

The thing about lights is the difference between seeing and being seen. Only the latter matters to me and a simple bright flashing light does the trick.

Agree, up to a point. On the Brompton I just use a pair of overpriced and over-engineered Lyzenes. These, to be precise:

I have one light of reach.

One helmet-mounted-battery-strapped-to-the-arm 'see' light (which points where I look, which is useful) and one bright flashing.

Then two (one as a redundant back-up in case of battery failure) flashing rears.

I have a flashing

rear on my bike and one on my rucksack or jacket depending on what I'm wearing/carrying.

will you boys stop flashing your rears at innocent passers by. You'll give the hotel A Reputation.
