I am, as teachers say nowadays, 'working towards' my running target. That is, over a hundred miles still short.
So desperate am I (not really) to get to the magic number I even went for a very slow plod while the nice man put a new battery in the car and did something called 'coding' with it.
I also rode my bike to my strengthening class, in pleasant autumn sunshine, but faced cold hard rain on my return trip
Bored with autumn and winter now.

It’s raining here. It literally hasn’t stopped all day. The fields are full and the roads are like rivers. Bloody miserable.
I wish I was in Houston too!

I'm seriously considering blowing off a work event that sounded quite interesting (and is optional) for the sake of going to the gym.
Who am I kidding. I'm clearly not going to the event, just a question of whether I *am* going to the gym...

I have a training plan. There are sessions for swim bike and run but no volume targets attached. They will be what they will be. I have targets in other areas:
- body weight
- 4 swims a week (at least 3 weeks out of every 4)
- 2 saunas a week
- 2 strength/core sessions a week
