Doing some research, I discovered that Ipswich was originally spelled Gipeswic.

It is warm here today, although windy and with a lot of rain promised for later.

Sounds like the sub tropical swimming paradise at Centre Parcs was only 79 degrees F, rather than 80.......

As Glenn says, if East Anglian county names made sense I’d have just returned from Essex to Suffolk.

And Thomas Hardy would have written morally dubious tales about country folk and landed gentry in Huntingdon

Good evening lovers of multi sport I did running last night it was fun wading through puddles.
Question, well two actually...
1. Aero bars for road bikes any recommendations? 2. treadmills for training at home, any thoughts on what I should be looking for?

I’ve got a set of Profile Design “clip-on” aero bars. The forearm pads fold up when you’re not leaning on them. They rattle (quite a lot unless you’re pressing on them) but they’re ok for Sprints. I don’t think I bothered with them for my Standard events. Definitely didn’t use them for IM70.3 Edinburgh.
No idea about treadmills, sorry.

Morning masochists and weirdos. I done a little bike to get squares and turn my legs over before 't big match (actually not that big, as I'm starting on the bench, but it will help determine which side of D, 3 we play in for the rest of the season, so quite big) this afternoon.
Once I've moved flats in the city in the next week or so I might be in the market for a turbot like affair, though I'll still be within stumbling distance of a gym so it might not be worth the expense in money or space.
That 1:59:40 marathon was quite impressive, wasn't it? He didn't even seem that knackered at the end, unveliable. Can't be long before he f does it in a real event.
