AA our lanyards at work are bright red with 'XXX school" on them - don't think anyones noticed I've changed mine to a red ironman one
Have been having a bit of a quiet time here, footy is still (mostly) improving and I;ve been getting out on the bike and working hard at the gym and pilates. Did some single leg pistol squats (with TRX) the other day and my strength and stability on my dodgy left leg have improved immensely so I;m well chuffed.
Only series 2 - I’m trying to make it last so season 6 is out when I get there.
I have two old lanyards (a Mobile Support Division on and a Superintendents’ Association one) which I used to alternate, but our Chief got a bee in his bonnet about lanyard one-upmanship and declared only plain blue ones are allowed.
He leaves in October and normality will be restored.
In the show context I think they're referring to the passes on the lanyards as well.
I have a collection of lanyards from various places (sad but true), but currently no need to use any for work.
I used to keep my keys on one, and always have it hanging out of the back pocket of my baggy jeans (yeah, you wish you were as cool as me, I know) - but I did have a bit of a problem with not noticing it falling into the loo whenever I had to go. I always washed it immediately, so technically it was probably cleaner than most people's keyrings probably ever are, but it was still a bit unsettling.
You all feel better for learning this, I can tell.
