Hmmmmm dilemma I think i will have to make this thread my morning thread as I don't want to risk hearing the results before i get to see it on tv later on. It's just not the same watching it if you know the results, especially later on in the mountains. Anyway, as you were everyone :-)

Different though as they do a different job, was talking about competitive athletes whose sole job is to work for the benefit of another competitive athlete. If you start looking at those that make it possible for them to compete then you bring a lot more people into play

Why does the Peloton slow up to wait for a rider who has been injured? Surely the focus is to catch the breakaways?

Gentlemans agreement that you don't drop a rider in need - you never know when you will need their help, not just in this race, but in the future.

The law of the peleton is very strict - break it at your peril. Everyone needs the peleton - they work better as a whole. The breakaway will be caught.

I will look up which guy thought he'd catch Lance out by disregarding the rules of the peleton - he didn't last long
