Can you imagine the atmosphere on the Astana team bus tonight...wil be interesting to see what Lance has to say on twitter...do you think he'll say "who's the Daddy"
Today he showed what made him brilliant in the past..not just his speed, but his awareness that a break was possible, so make sure to hang around the front of the pack.
I want to take 3 weeks off and watch this every day now.

Hendo..he was the the best placed from his team in the break, so he now leapfrogs to 3rd overall...the ones ahead of him, all got left in the main pack.

I think Columbia are interested in delivering the Green jersey in Paris - they have done their part today - no sprint point on offer tomorrow - Job done.
Hendo, as Lance is only 40 secs down, but a further 19 ahead of Contador - his team mate. If they make up the time difference over Cancelara's team then Lance is in Yellow.
The team (Astana) will then defend the yellow jersey - Contador is the lead rider with Astana not Lance. Cue in team bitching

Gobi.. Thanks. I didn't think I'd need Sky anymore with Newcastle being in the Championship now!

I think lance knew exactly what he was doing today. He had to be in pole position over Contador as Astana should comfortably win the TTT (despite what Wiggins has been saying!), and once he's in Yellow i'm sure team will come into play.
