I read somewhere that Cavendish has said he won't be joining them.

But Millar was selected for the Worlds. Brailsford is a canny operator and if Shane Sutton and Rod Ellingworth are in there that will be 3 strong leaders who will argue about who to get. looking at the TV coverage of the mens road championships I reckon Chris Froome is a definite and will be a Team Leader in stage races.
Millar has a part share in Slipstream so that may rule him out. Wiggo will do a good Tour to get his price up!

Must say yesterday was the first time I had ever watched a stage for a significant amount of time, and the action is enthralling. The sight of the trains forming up front for the final push, the gradual build up of pace, incredible pace and jockeying for position. The shots are amazing, the peleton moves with such grace from the air, yet close up you can see the frenetic action and awesome speed/power. Loved it and am well hooked.

Hushovd's CTT will be hoping for better today too, they had 3 down at the crash near the finish yesterday and they would love to attack Cav and Columbia

Yeah I agree, there were two or three teams jostling all looking quite string, then after the crash there was just Columbia left standing and Cav himself admitted that there is luck involved with the crashes and avoiding them.

When Columbia put a group together to get Cav to the line as they showed in the Giro and yesterday why would he want to leave. I do like the fact that Cav's first action is to thank his team by going to look for them. Cipo and Petacchi always used to wait for the Team to come to them.

I saw that too Chris but have decided against following them, because I would never leave my iPhone alone.
