Cav's off the pace... Not by much, but just enough.

So it looks like it won't be a Cav v Hushovd battle, but a Pettacchi v Hushovd battle for green.

Cav had no answer when Petachi went....not in form or just one of those things? Very un-Cav like but Hushovd missed it too.

Petacchi wins it, good control from him keeping Cavendish out. A second stage win in four, nice.

It will be interesting to hear what Cav says. Cycling Weekly are saying he sat up on the run in. He has been known to sit up in the past and say "people who aren't sprinters and can't sprint were trying to get involved, they're a danger, so I sat up".

An hospitalised Schleck and a misfiring Cav. All I now need is something to happen to Hushovd and my fantasy team will be well and truly wooden-spooning it!
Perhaps this will give Cav a bit more of an incentive to put things right next time. Whether he's not in form or not, I can't for one second think that he'll take this lying down.
