It looked good around Campsite B, and I agree more peaceful. We were late getting there, but they just opened up an extra corner between A and B at the time - just as you run out of the site at the start, so nice area. The team next door seemed to like shouting from tent to tent so that was a pain, as was the not very welcome gig going on next door!
All good lessons - ear plugs as well!

My worry about earplugs was not being able to hear alarm/wake-up when it was my turn to get out.
That gig was indeed also a pain in the arse.

With a 1am lap to get set for I tried to get my head down about 10 - first the gig then the generator pretty much ensured that was a waste of time. I do agree about the fear of not hearing the alarm though.
Anyone see any result yet? From the website, it doesn't look like they've finished last years yet!

It was quite good where we were, just under the giant yellow castle in camp site B. Bit difficult negotiating the way to the start as there wasn't room for the 2m between tents!

I only slept for about 15 minutes before my 3rd lap just before 4am as I was too scared I wouldn't get up, event with a team member due to wake me. Once I'm gone, it can be very difficult for me to get up! I got about an hour of sleep in before my 4th.

I enjoyed the gig
I was out on the course for lots of it and it kept me awake in a good way.

There was one highlight of the gig going on next door - I was just running on that uphill muddy path just before the final ridge section when they started blasting out Bon Jovi Living on a Prayer - oh, we're halfway there....as Jovi are my favourite band and it was almost midnight it did give me a surge of energy - apologies too if you were running alongside me as I did singalong as I rang along the ridge.
