Got past Chirk today (350 badge!) with enough walking to & from the car with picnic stuff with MiL, son & grandson.
But I've ended up in a Streetview black hole - so detoured a titch to Pontcysyllte and supplying my own pics of the Shropshire Union Canal (Llangollen Branch) there.

Finally got to Chirk, one week later than expected. Damn that sprained ankle! Missed a week but walking with a bit of jogging now so hopefully on the mend. Onwards to Chester.

um...love the Ponty. Spent a summer running boat trips over it. The RAF use the Dee valley for training and buzz as close as they can over your head...
