I only noticed when I read it this morning that the leaflet I was given AFTER my vaccination was to be read BEFORE receiving the jab!

Jab yesterday afternoon - couldn't believe how quick it was. I was expecting a mahoosive needle for a good few seconds, not a small prick (missus) that was there and gone in no time (missus, again).

OH had hers at the same time and seems fine today, apart from the obligatory sore arm. I don't have many fluey symptoms but I've had a splitting headache ever since I woke up - about halfway betwee my ears and my temples. Planning an early (by my standards) night to see if that helps.

Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah. I've got a track meet in London on May 10th (unless it's cancelled - it could be) so was really hoping my second jab wouldn't be a week late. My 12 weeks are up a fortnight today. JUST got the invite and will jabbed on Wed 28th. Cutting it very close! About four days grace.

Anyway PHEW

My wife & I had our second jabs on Saturday afternoon, 7 weeks after we had our first. Our G.P. surgery is obviously keen to get us oldies jabbed up as fast as possible.

Got my second vaccine this afternoon. Didn't get a sticker but I was given a free ruler to measure the size of any redness around the injection site. ( Part of a research trial)
