I am in awe of Jamie. We walked up Braeriach yesterday and I'm shattered! We did a bit extra because we wanted to visit the Wells of Dee so it came to 16.75 miles. The conditions were fab, maybe a bit hot even. We had planned the walk for months so felt very lucky to get those conditions.
I still have a wee bottle of water from the source of the Dee in my fridge 😁

Braeriach is quite majestic with it's huge corries, and commanding views down into Laraig Ghru, and over to Macdui. What route did you take - ski centre and thru Chalamain Gap ?
4 for me today - Ben Lui, Beinn a'Chleibh, Ben Oss and Beinn Dubhcraig. Visits number 6,3,5,5 respectively, but 1st time doing all 4 in one outing.

Beinn Dubhcraig was a bit of a bog fest iirc, good day for it.

Yes, we started from the Sugarbowl car park and went through the Chalamaine Gap K5 Gus. It was all very dry for us too, the river crossings were easy. Sounds like you had a big day too.

Missed this thread. I’ve done 16 Munros so far. Yesterday I did Carn Bhac & Beinn Lutharn Mhor. Biked out to where the path splits then walked the circuit. Managed to go mountain biking today, though my legs were grumbling.
We met a group of 3 who intended doing 5 in the area. They started same time as us (9ish). One of them was really struggling before they even got to 2nd summit (his pals were still waiting at the top of a steep climb when we had done the summit and were heading back out). We were quite worried about them.

My friend Dee climbed Càrn Bhac yesterday! Maybe you saw her? Blonde lady with a big grey dog? She is in our running club and is very fit.
Hope the person you were worried about was OK.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
My wife did Stac Pollaidh today and the top was in cloud. Bit unlucky as all the hills up the A9 were hazy but clear.

Enjoy Dave! Such a great route - the run back down Glen Nevis should be a bit less boggy than normal too, bonus
Planning an attempt this Summer?
