Primarily set up to follow Donnie Campbell on his attempt at a self-propelled Munro Round record which currently stands at 39 days 9 hours.
Also somewhere to talk and follow any Charlie Ramsay round attempts, to discuss and ask advice on day trips that you're planning, and anything else Munros related.

Set off at 6am, up and down Ben More in 90 mins, cycled across Mull, kayaked over to mainland, and Waiting on the campervan on the ferry to get his bike for a reasonably long cycle up to Glenfinnan.
I spotted on strava a couple of weeks ago, he had a recce trip up the side of Loch Shiel ( not a road, just a track ) so will be interesting to see if he goes that way, or if he thinks it better to go the longer way around by road.

I'm intrigued as to the plan B if the weather goes bad during his planned time on Skye. The Cuillin isn't an option in really bad conditions, so I assume he must have planned in two possible windows in the schedule to do those Munros.

Yeah, sounds like he's considered that :
"They are the ones that worry me the most as well as they are the most technical and they are probably the only Munro's that if the weather is really windy and wet then I will have to wait or come back to them."
from an interview on UKC ukclimbing.com

Saw on strava that he did a recce of the Cuillin Ridge 2 weeks ago, 5.5 hours from Glenbrittle campsite to the Slig - not hanging about !

Definitely not! The Cuillin in one part of his route that it will have been worth recceing thoroughly. Compass work is useless (as it's not direction that is the challenge, but finding the line of least resistance through the rock obstacles), and the route finding from Sgurr a'Mhaidaidh northwards is really hard.

He's from Skye originally, so guessing he knows it pretty well, and did the recce with a local guide, so may well have him pencilled in for later in the month

I didnt know he was from there!

The local guides will be best placed to nav the best route though, doing it week in week out. The Cuillin are probably the only hills in the UK where you can't just rely on being a decent navigator - you have to know them if you want to be efficient.

It'll be fascinating to see how he does.
