I also thought that CC's book had a sad ending, the clues are all there throughout the book I suppose.

Impressed at the use of kayak to get across Loch Lomond for Ben Lomond yesterday. Looks like four bagged this morning (Ben Vorlich to Beinn Narnain) with Beinn Bhuidhe. Walkhighlands describes this as the neglected Munro. Look forward to seeing how this is bagged.

Tomorrow looks a big day - 4 @ Cruachan, 5 in Glen Etive and 2 at Black Mount, with I guess drop back to van at Forest Lodge, then mountain bike along whw across Rannoch Moor to Glencoe ski centre

Really surprised that he retraced steps from Beinn Bhuidhe. Just a mile an a half of rough descent to the west would have put him on a good track all the way down past Lochan Shira (on a pre-placed mountain bike if logistics could have coped with this?) and down the stonking great track that now heads past Accurach Farm to 100197 on the A819. Maybe not too much in it, but that was my first thought (especially after looking at the track network on Google maps). And Cam is right with it being a remote and less visited hill - "neglected" for good reason!

Looks like a long hard day for Donnie today but all 11 in the bag and I'm assuming shortly he will be on his bike to ride down the track to the van at Glencoe Resort. Well when I say down that's rather ignoring the 150m climb that he has to negotiate in the process ;-)
