8 out of 12 done, just come down off Beinn Dearg, and a long easily rideable track back down thru the firing range to Glen Tilt ( walked it 3 or 4 times, always wishing I had a bike ! ) - I'm assuming Rachel has been up there with a mtb earlier, soon tell by how quick he comes down

Yep, he's flown down those 5 miles or so - well done Rachel.

Big job she has there - all the driving, retrieving bike after Donnie's cycled in somewhere, placing a bike up a glen ready for him coming off the hill, buying and cooking food ( I'm guessing here on the cooking ! ), washing kit ( guessing again ;-) ), etc, etc

Heading down off final one, and given where the van is ( carpark at Old Bridge of Tilt ) then looks like ( quite understandably after almost 16 hours ) that he wont be cycling over to Schiehallion this evening.
Great effort today !

Day 11 today, 91/282 completed, 12 planned today

1 @ Schiehallion
4 @ Glen Lyon
7 @ Ben Lawers

I'm quite close to these ones, and the forecasted thunder and lightening hasn't materialised here yet, sun is out !!

A later start this morning after monster day yesterday, has made good speed on the bike from Blair Atholl, along Loch Tummel, and the climb up to Schiehallion carpark

Just over an hour to climb Schiehallion, and then a very steep and rapid descent off the south side. Impressive stuff.

In the end, family things at home took over Gus - maybe just as well with the way Donnie was flying up the Glen, and over the hills. I have run with him before, but he's got very fast these days! Oh, and the weather turned rubbish too.

Wondering about an early start and a visit to Glen Artney on Thursday morning, where I have a Corbett and a couple of Donalds to visit, plus adding Munros Ben Vorlich and Stuc a'Chroin. Maybe... the weather on MWIS looks mediocre though.

Are you heading out today and/or tomorrow? Since Donnie will be almost on your doorstep this afternoon.

I'm definitely not heading out today, did a marathon (virtual) yesterday, and I was nowhere near fit enough to do it and suffered badly, it was a sorry shuffle back up Glen Ogle :-)
