_andy, not sure if you Like him on facebook ? This was part of his update last night, which sounds promising regards the injury :
"Thanks for all the prayers for healing of my ankle/tendon, today was the first day since last Thursday I could run down hill without basically being in tears š with the pain. Still not near 100% but a lot more manageable which made today more fun rather than the last few days which was basically a suffer test"

Yes - nice pics from yesterday plus a late-night summary from Donnie:
"#MunroRound Day 13.⣠5 Munros; Meall Glas, Sgiath Chuil, Ben Chonzie, Ben Vorlich, Stuc a'Chroin ⣠ā£Total 115⣠ā£It was nice to spend some time on the bike today fetching Munros, especially since I was drafting @andybryceuk all day so basically felt like a recovery day with 5 Munros thrown in!!! Another big day tomorrow, in fact I donāt think there is any easy days until September!!!ā£"

Bridge of Orchy 5 done, cycled down the road, and should shortly be starting the Ben Lui 4. Then just a short cycle down to Crianlarich ahead of the 7 at Crianlarich/Glen Falloch plus Ben Lomond tomorrow.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
That's him overtaken my Munros total. Taken me nearly 40 years.

I reckon I'm safe on that count 57.5DoP. I'm paused on 283 Munros just now.

Thanks for the Charlie Campbell book recommendation. Just finished. Quite a sad story in the end. Hope heās okay. 20st etc. Quite funny as a time capsule. 52 emails in 7 weeks! I get that personally each day (most junk) and probably x4 for work! I also liked his relaxed approach to time. He seemed quite matter of fact about how hard he must have been pushing but still had time for 11AM starts, gear shopping, fry-ups, piss-ups! He doesnāt go into the behind the scenes planning, routing and negotiations that must have been key. Not sure if that was his mum or him but it show the value of an Operations Officer/chief of staff role to herd cats and do logistics. It also shows what a challenge Donnie is going for.

Impressive stuff! He's doing incredibly well so far. Is he still having injury issues, or has that gone?

MC - he hasn't mentioned it in his brief FB update the last two evenings, I copied the update from 3 nights ago in the my post at the top of the page, where it was sounding as if it had improved quite a bit

So just Ben Lomond left today. Given where the van is it looks like he is going to drop to the Beinglas and the bike down the A82. But is he going to go all the way round (and back again to get into position for tomorrow) or kayak across to somewhere like Rowardennan Lodge, do a quick dash up and down and then reverse?

I'd be amazed if he didn't kayak across and back, it's a long cycle around to Rowardennan
