I like the idea of putting a points system in place. Points for number of days in hiding and then points for finding people.

I moved my grid mid month during April so actually my hiding point is on the M25 now. If anyone catches me, they have broken the law

Not been found yet. My feet are getting cold though as the stream is more like a river at the moment!

If I am found before I get to log this run, I think I will have found a lot of you Northerners.

Good job I didn’t hide in that steading, tempting though it was. Ditch is always best!

OK - so a couple of people have mentioned points, so at the risk of cries of 'why do you have to turn everything into a competition?' (something that I am constantly saying to the mini VJs)...my thoughts - whilst hanging out the washing.
I doubt this is going to last a month - it will be interesting to see how near completion it is by the end of a week...so how about making this a weekly game? That will also limit the number of hiding squares you can build up as you only get to hide based on one week rather than one month's activity.
Clearly the main aim is not to be found and therefore whatever points system used it needs to reward those who stay hidden longest over those who find the most people - and properly reward/compensate that last hider as they become the first seeker next time.
Also it needs to be done in such a way that one bad week (found on day one) doesn't put you out of the running in the overall scores. And it needs to be done in such a way that new joiners have the ability to be competitive fairly quickly (rolling score based on the last x weeks, for example).
I also know nothing about coding so have no idea how realistic or possible these ideas are.
Hiders:
Score 1 point if found in first 10% of people Score 2 points if found in next 10% of people etc etc with bonus points for being in the last 3, 2 and then the last person.
This would give a max hiding score of 10 + whatever bonus for being last person hiding.
Finders:
This is more tricky to get right. Obviously the earlier you are found the potential you have to find more people - but you don't want to overly reward people for being found early.
I'll come back to this after I've hung up some washing!

I don't see why we have to make it competitive. Why not just have badges for being in the last x % found, or for finding x people.
