Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I know I should save this up but yesterday I ran past this which would be perfect for the literature one. I didn't have my camera with me so please accept a borrowed photo.

That's a lot better than the name from Literature that I passed on my run yesterday but I'm holding on to it in lieu of anything better at the moment - although I'm starting to look much more closely at house names and even when I went through the churchyard yesterday I looked at all the names on gravestones in case there was a local Dickens family or something similar buried there.........

Enjoying everyone's non-entries of reflections, here's an old route of the day one that i did a while ago. Looking forward to tackling the list, only one was on my April preliminary list fortunately.

Like Alice, we're on our way home too and spotted what I think were lots of almond trees in blossom as we passed by on the train to Pisa. That one shouldn't present too many difficulties at home. I've thought of my literature one but I'm not sure, I don't think there's a plaque or anything. The interesting wall will be my biggest challenge I think.

Whilst researching 'high brow culture literary refs', I came across this.
Xanadu's a great literary work, innit? :-p

I may have to go and see if it's been upgraded to the 50th anniversary,
