When I was crewing Sam for the GUCR I managed to lose the car key, in the car, between opening the door and trying to start it.
It went down a gap in the back seat cushion, as after opening the driver's door I put a bag on the back seat.

It was about 3am, my mother in law, her husband, and I pretty much emptied the car before we found it

I dropped my phone on my face. One corner hit my cheekbone a glancing blow. Slightly uncomfortable.

C and Son2 are playing golf this evening so C left the old car in Sainsbury’s car park so I could get home from the station after work (buses 1 an hour on a v long diversion due to road works and no easy walking route). Unfortunately he forgot to get a pay and display ticket (70p) and now we have a penalty ticket instead (£25) 🙄

In trying to avoid a couple of driftwood branches as I was running on Crosby beach tonight, I managed to get clumsily tangled up.

It was yesterday, but I discovered I’d left my trousers in England. Emergency purchase required.

I finally got around to sorting out horrible Microsoft One Drive (by moving all the photos off it into somewhere it doesn't know about on my laptop) when I got a message saying that the system backup couldn't find a file it needed.

So I assumed that I had broken One Drive and spent nearly all the evening trying to find out how to fix it.

Eventually I twigged that it was my own in-house backup that had failed, and after ages reading ultimately irrelevant web pages, I discovered that an Ethernet cable had fallen out of the router.

What are the chances of that happening exactly when I am teaching Microsoft a lesson?

Long live the productivity gains IT brings us!

The freezer door was left open by someone. I'm not sure if we'll be able to eat everything that semi defrosted.

Not today but on Fri when first arrived in York I wacked my shin off a step. Hard to see in the photo but my left shin is a nice shade of yellow and sore to touch

Managed to let a cat escape from the cat shelter where I volunteer. Apparently it took 2 months to catch it and bring it in. I’m thoroughly in the dog house.
