The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Yes, Garmin connect is back Mole-thing, but it seems to have logged about 5 peoples runs to your account Check with your doctor if you should be running so far in the heat. I thought this was going to be an epic contest this week, but i was wrong - despite, up to last night, having run about 35 miles and cycled or walked another 20, i am being trounced. I probably need a good 20 mile run later and 100 mile bike ride. So chapeau, i know when i'm beaten.
mole-thing you make my heart sink you make everything, red-y mole-thing
mole-thing you fill my squares in you make everything, grotty mole-thing
I've managed to edge ahead for the first time this week. But my opponent seems to have a high running mileage, do most of it in his home grid, and have access to many of the squares in his home grid. I'm not feeling optimistic about this.
Had a bit of a disaster (not really) at lunch when the TomTom decided to stop measuring distance at 3.04 miles. Had to do the rest of it with strava but only once I'd noticed. Now it's missed out all the winding and zigzagging I did to claim out of the way squares. Stupid bloody watch.
