I thought of ringing my OH to pick me up but I thought there will be times I won’t want to keep going so I kept going. As you say Wallman it’s the mental strength that comes into play. I broke my foot 3m into my first night marathon- I didn’t know that at the time but I knew it was bad. I gobbled the other 24m (it was a trail mara) it’s the bit that you want to keep going. So I’m hoping that will all stand me in good stead. But whatever I’ll do a Wallman! You are incredible.

I was looking at the Fetch one earler, looking at the numbers and wondering whether they would remain readable against varying colours but you seem to have managed it, especially with the black flipping to white against a dark background.
