So maybe just put them straight into a big pot now? No blackfly on my leaves. Molluscs are my only problem so far.

Just been out for a half term tour of the garden and found my forgotten sunflowers in teeny pots sitting in a trug full of water :-(. Repotted them into any pots I could find and propped them against a wall. Don't think I'll be winning any prizes!!

Run a bowl of water and fairy liquid (other washing up liquids are available) Important : if you've used hot water ALLOW IT TO COOL !!! Spray on black fly. The don't like the soap - the plant doesn't mind as long as you don't then water it with soapy water you should be fine
