Today is a rest day. In the last three plus months I've not had many, probably three or four.

Morning all, just a 3 mile plod for me earlier this evening - legs were complaining so couldn't go any faster.

That's a shame about your ultra JK, Connemarathon sounds good though, beautiful scenery around there.

Westmoors, hope it is just a sniffle and that you feel better soon. Good luck for your double marathon weekend Toks!

Jono.
Richard, I used to work with a Polish girl and she regularly stated the UK was colder the Poland, I've never been to Poland so couldn't argue otherwise.

cycled 31 miles this morning, cycling early in the morning is, for me, as pleasurable as running early in the morning. Quiet roads, bird songs, early morning cockerel further into the Wirral. Beautiful sunrise over the city.

me and Mrs J are off to the pictures this morning to watch Logan (Β£5.00 each and I may treat her to a bag of chips later)

Mrs J is clearly a very lucky woman, Jono.

Morning all. Today will mostly be spent in a car on the M1, off to Yorkshire to see my little old Mum, who's had a fall (fortunately mostly uninjured, but a bit shaken up). We'll take her out for lunch, which will be fish and chips, her favourite. Hope to get a run done this evening when we're back.

Building up to Reading Half this weekend. Meant to go out yesterday morning but really didn't sleep well so postponed til this morning. 4 miles done first 3 progressive (8:33, 8:05, 7:31) and then final mile close to target pace for Sunday (7:56).

Will go out for a steady 4 miler which was in the plans for tomorrow anyway and then a slow progressive parkrun on Saturday
