Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We still have some christmas lights up because I quite like them, and the tree is in the spare room having not quite made it into the attic yet...

There's also a robin who regularly visits the garden, and a pile of presents have been delivered over the last week or so (for my birthday, but I can pretend it's christmas...)

I've asked eL Bee! to remove a conifer in front of the house that survived the last cull because I thought we might bling it up at Christmas. We never bothered.

I've got fairy lights and a wreath just waiting for the "next time I go into the loft for something." Which will probably be December when i go up to get the rest of the Christmas stuff back down.

I made 4 of these reindeer from firewood for Christmas a few years ago. Two of them went to live somewhere else. My original plan was to chuck them on the fire at the end of Christmas, but they've stayed. At the end of Christmas, I just remove their red noses and tinsel.

Those are fantastic! Especially like the smaller one. Not quite feeling Christmassy yet, though.

I haven't bought any cards yet. Have I left it too late?
I may have some of last year's Xmas stamps though.
