It is an elastic band, but it's super loose and so I can replace it easily when I need to :)

A stray sunflower has appeared in the middle of my bean patch. The sunflowers were there last year but nothing had appeared for so long that I thought nothing was going to happen. It seems the sunflowers have had their own idea for guerilla planting - unless one of you would like to own up.
